Tim, have you done your due diligence and prepared in the case of an SOL storm induced outage? It seems there's a large group here that has no other way of communicating or finding news of the outside world. I fear many will wither and perish in such a catastrophic event.

Our BCP and DR plans allow for full redundancy and continuity during a large scale event.   We've got replicated backups of all Databases, Logs, and virtual server LUNs.  Working with active/active technologies we can continue to deliver services seamlessly with an industry best and very low RTO/RPO.  Utilizing dark fiber networks we can cross replicate updates with unheard of minimal latencies and our BGP configuration allows for multi-point presence of our IP networks....

With MikeMC at the helm of our recovery team, Tim can continue to ensure the Shark River Hills bunker is fully prepared...we've installed an emergency broadcast beacon on Frank's head if landlines fail.  Chunkah has been supplying JMB and MitchellNJ with emergency beer provisions from the north, Lucky got the square groupers from J, and Derrick is keeping the weather plotters greased.  Homer of course is in charge of entertainment...

In other words.....we're covered!
