Dogs are like a window to your soul.

 

If you call them and they do not come you need to take a good long look at yourself in the mirror.

 

Something is wrong with you, not them.

 

They are the most noble, loyal, and honest souls on this earth!

 

Some say they were domesticated 40,000 years ago, but I think it is more like they adopted us.

 

We have been lucky to have them in our lives ever since that first day.

 

Treat them with kindness and respect and they return it ten fold.

That is true though, my chow is close to 14, she used to be mean as a snake and kind of stand offish now she follows me around the yardand wants me to pet her all the time :(

I was looking at the google street view of my other house. Youngest still lives there with my ex. 

On the porch is my Buck. He past a year ago on Thanksgiving. The description in that pic fits him to a T.

There has been a dog in my life for over 60 years. Grew up with Boxers, to many to count German Shorthaired Points for 40 years, and now a Beagle. My favorite has always been an old dog.

Me and my wife got most of are animals when we started getting serious, 15 years ago, we only have 1 original left... man she's getting old , I have the stray lab we found this summer, vet said she's 1 or 2 years old, I want to choke it...

I want another Golden or  German Wirehaired Pointer. 

 

Can't find either for what my budget allows.... 

 

I want something fairly young that I can train my way....
