Gurgling poppers?

Tried to make a few poppers for LMB and Striped fish. I imagined fishing the blurple one in current for stripers at night much like a gurgler, but with a bit more of a pop, and the frog on Lilly pads at night for bass. Tied a few of these in yellow/chartreuse as well. My one concern is that the foam on both sides of the hook shank will cause the hook to ride up/ sideways... Not sure it'll make much of a difference. Thoughts?

I have never tied foam on both sides. Is their a reason you went with a foam bottom over some type of hurl or sparkly material? I think it's going to roll on its side and mostly ride hook down.

Maybe they are a good idea. You have to try them in daylight to see how they ride. Might want to try a smaller lip on the bottom and or less foam.
