That's a shame.  RIP Glen.  There's a great documentary on the history of the Eagles on Netflix.  If you grew up in the 1970's, the Eagles were a part of it, even if you weren't a fan.  They were a hit factory.  I was a fan.

Yeah,i saw that doc.,No shortage of ego there.Don Henley and Glen Frey were pretty arrogant.It was their way or the highway.

Uhhh, done already got old.

 

Something I alway find interesting.  Look at what Glen Frey was up to getting started, his pool of talent.  Hanging out with Linda Rondstadt, Jackson Browne and Nico from Velvet Underground, JD Souther,  Tom Rush, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Bob Seger.  Its a damn impressive list.

Its stuff like that where you can imagine the real talent and forget the airbrushed BS FM radio hits.

The Eagles were a damned good band.
