Someone didn't plan ahead. The storm water outfalls they missed are creating disgusting putrid water pools on the beaches.

Time to write some letters.

First photos are Neptune/Hathaway before, a nice family beach with tidal pool for the kids, surfing, fishing, etc.

After it looks like a storm water retention pond.

2nd photos are Marine Place after, nice clean water, great jetty.

Here is the cesspool from storm water runoff they now have.

Why so hard on the "rich bastards", it's the politicians like Pallone, Menendez, Christie who supported and pushed through the beach replenishment deal. Had FEMA not provided 100% of the funding for Allenhurst, Deal, etc., those "rich bastards" would have never approved a referendum to increase taxes to

fund such a project.

Why did Fema give anything at all to those towns?  There was very little change after the storm rolled through.  Damage was minimal.  Who the hell writes checks that large without checking to see the damage, or in this case, landscape change?

What kind of engineer disregards the presence of drain pipes, it's not like they're hidden. The one at Marine was a few feet off the ground and sticking right thru the wall.

I know it sucks and all....but......I find it pretty funny.......add beach blanket real estate to the east.......immediately lose it to the west with putrid sewer water......ACOE fugging Einsteins!!!!

Add in a few North Easters to the mix...you'll have just putrid water and a sliver of sand.......

stupid stupid stupid.

I don't think it's about the homeowners or the beach-goers. Its about the sand pumping contract holder$

and sure  a few home owners make money from it one way or another.
