TICA Pisces drag question???

Hey Guys...

I got a Tica Pisces and am gonna do a cleaning on it ...

my question is drags should be????

dry or oiled or greased????

 

lemme know I got it apart and need it tomorrow...

 

 

PS this reel rocks!!! yanked a 15lb Striper out lastnight on it with a nice eel....

I dunno, I wouldn't change anything to do with the drag - they are butter smooth already smile.gif

 

Just clean the reel, don't mess with the drag unless it's giving you problems. Consult the users manual if you find yerself wanting to mess with the drag cause I ain't found any reason to mess with 'em yet wink.gif

What a timely post! I just was talking to Tim about the Pisces and possibly purchasing one. I'm guessing you would recommend it, correct?

Yes Luke I would deff. recomend it...It carried a nice fish with NO prob. I just gotta clean up my drag sys a bit I got it apart right now I think it got sticky after it got dunked in the drink last night by mistake!!!!

I have it matchedd up on a Star Rod Stellar lite PG15301SM 7' 0" 5/8-3oz lure

this set up has Quickly become my goto combo

casts a mile an smooth

I'd just clean the drag up and put it back - don't oil or grease it!

 

As to the rods, no idea...I can get them but I'm not stocking any rods, they take up too much room and shipping them is a hassle smile.gif
