· #1 Posted June 2, 2015 I have an old 9'-1.5" Fenwick Feralite. It was wrapped many years ago w/Fuji guides (ones with a whiteish/green shock ring), the ferrule also got wrapped - for why I can't remember - anyway: I just cleaned-up the wraps & coated them w/Threadmaster One & they look fine & I plan to repaint the rod w/as close to original red/brown & use it. So Is there any way to determine what reels, lines, etc. it should take ??? Thanks ... 0 Go to top
· #2 Posted June 2, 2015 The Fiberglass Flyrodders website has a Wiki page with details on most glass fly rods. The section on Fenwicks shows rods in that size were between 8 and 11wt lines. The length you mention could either be a 9ft or a 9ft 3in. They didn't make one the size noted. If you can narrow better to one or the other then you can narrow the line weight better. 0 Go to top
· #3 Posted June 3, 2015 Maybe the tip broke and it lost a inch and a half? Maybe that's why they rewrapped it? 0 Go to top
