bdowning
I like the same setup for bigger sluggos (9" plus), but on a slightly weighted (1/8 to 1/4 oz) swimbait hook (one of those corkscrew hooks that screws into the head of the sluggo with a molded weight on the hook). Unweighted's good too. -bd Edited April 17, 2015 by bdowning Pfantum Pfishah

Modef
Blue backed Crippled Herring with a small plastic or tied teaser. I can cast far if needed, can cover entire water column, and, lol, am just an old schooler. (Yes, I paw past the pencils, SPs, swimmers, leadheads, sluggoes, etc., to get to my old standby.)
