Agree with you there Mike!

Decent fish that wanted all of this soft tail pikie.  Literally.

Wasn’t sure the patient was going to survive but only one front hook was in the hard part of the inside of the mouth.  The plug then lifted right out, somehow unscathed from the rear hooks!  No bleeding.  Swam away.   Lucky  fish.

Really like the color on this plug, good color to see from the shore on the retrieve.  Swims great!

Interesting to see those line tie loops and how they are turned down. I'm assuming you're tuning these?

I blieve this is a Winchmaster Lures "cigar" plug from 2000s era. Not signed. 2.5 oz in current config. Chartreuse belly can't see it here really. Very small line tie loop that is not really tunable. This thing is almost hard to get out of the water it has such holding power.  RP-000001-180-Copy.jpg

Finished off the week in the surf with several smaller fish fresh out of the bay from the recent set of minus tides.   On this trip, found their holding spot with a bucktail and they wanted the plug as well.

Smaller fish but still a blast to catch on top water.   Liking this color!
