This is only updated with the Coastal regulations.  The Chessy regs are still pending.

 

 

Your best bet is to call DNR directly (you will probably have to leave a message) or catch and release (regardless of the regulations) :horse:

1 fish per person/per day between 28-36 inches, or one fish over 40 inches. There is a slot reduction for any fish falling between 36-40 inches, which equates to probably 80% of the fish we have caught over the last 6-7 years. In other words, any fish between 36-40 inches must be thrown back.

DE and VA will be changing regs as well, since all coastal states are required by ASMFC to cut their quota by 25% for this year. Don't know what DE and VA regs are yet, but almost guaranteed to get cut from 2 fish per day to 1 fish per day.

The regs in the opening line are for MD Chesapeake Bay trophy season.......April 18 - May 15.

I have not seen the new regs but I did see there would be changes to the harvest numbers
