Nice special effects. Are you using a lense filter of some typewink.gif Too bad the sand spike was in the picture.

Yeah Wayne, it's called the "googan photographer" filter. Billy recently switched to the GP filter from the "so dark you can't see it" filter he used to photo Albertos 16.5lb blackfish.biggrin.gif

 

Billy's just warming up for the honeymoon shots.

 

Billy, it's still not too late to pull the chute.wink.gif

Wayne, I am using the special technique now known as..... technology!! Just jkidding. I am using a small Fuji 4700 digital with a zoom lens. There is a night setting on the camera which allows the shutter to stay open longer. THat's why the rod looks blurry - he was lifting the rod as I took the photo. The problem with this setting, is that the camera needs to be on a tripod or ALL the photos will come out blurry. Oh yeah, I had the flash on.

 

Another trick, is to use the balance settings in the photo editing software to lighten the pictures taken at night (I use Microsoft Photo Editor)

Did you ever see those pics? I'm never touching anyone else camera again. At least with teh digitals, I can tell if I screwed up right away,,, like this.....
