Shower Curtain Rod

I have a tension curtain rod and every time I change the curtain, the ends of the rod takes some paint off the wall. I spackle, sand, prime and touch up but it happens again when it is time to change the curtain. Anyone else run into this problem? I'm using B. Moore Aura bath/spa paint. When I used BM eggshell or matte paint, I don't remember having this problem.

Had the same problem in my new place. I got clear rubber addhesive pads for furniture feet alittle bigger then the pole diameter. I stuck them on the wall and that was that. Plus you don't even notice them. :)

Excellent idea ! Would Homies or Lowes have them?
