Maybe I'm missing something. Didn't I read "moles".

The yard has been invaded by them this fall. First time in the four years we've been there that I've seen 'em tunneling in the yard.

When we first moved in there were a lot of foxes. I'd see them pretty regularly and a female even had a litter in the culvert at the end of the driveway. Whenever I saw a fox eating something, or evidence of a fox eating something, it was a mole. Apparently they eat a lot of moles.

And then, the foxes went away. I haven't seen on this year. Population cycles? Disease? I'm not sure. But. the foxes left and the moles came back.

So, I'm not too inclined to murder moles, but they are messing up the lawn (which I spend a lot of time on). Should I wait and see if the foxes come back now that the moles are here? Not sure how to proceed.
