Thinking this is why Eric is hitting the road.

More to come.

"The Justice Department has turned over more than 64,000 pages of documents congressional lawmakers were seeking as part of their investigation into the botched gun-running operation known as Fast and Furious.

The material was handed over to the House Oversight and Government Reform panel late Monday in what aides describe as an election eve “dump.”

In total, 64,280 pages arrived on Capitol Hill — all material that had been withheld from Congress by President Obama, who used executive privilege to keep the information from lawmakers.

House Republicans, who led the charge to hold U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress over the documents, sued for their release, and a judge agreed with the GOP."

there's nothing in those documents that we don't already know.

Just a reminder. They were following a court order.

and they just happened to release them on a day when people had other things to talk about.

Al sharpton was at the White Jouse yesterday, along with the head of the NAACP.

They were either picking a new AG, or scheduling the riots in St Louis. Either way, that criminal Holder is probably in Mexico by now.

P.S. They released another GITMO prisoner yesterday too

A book by one Matthew Bracken on Fast and Furious:

That is the official MSM Koolaid line, but it's a lie. Under Operation Fast and Furious, there was no attempt to track the guns after they crossed the border. We didn't even inform the Mexican government or law enforcement, or seek their cooperation in tracking the guns, because tracking the guns was not the objective. The objective was to buttress the false meme being promoted by Obama, Holder and Hillary Clinton that "90% of the guns found at Mexican murder scenes came from America." The actual objective, by spreading this lie, was to turn Americans against the 2nd Amendment.

300+ Mexicans and a pair of American agents murdered with F&F guns were the price Obama, Holder and Clinton were willing to pay. Mass murder abroad was the price they were willing to pay for a political objective at home. And what did we hear from American Pravda? Crickets. Operation Fast and Furious was pure evil, mass murder for political purposes, and the MSM was a willing partner

The criminals were already armed. F&F was a drop in the bucket. It wasn't like the cartels would have been unarmed if not for F&F.

It was a terrible idea that was executed poorly and was thankfully shut down and shouldn't happen again, but let's not make it more than it was.

This is such a liberal dodge. Like saying that the illegals will come here ANYWAYS so why bother to close the border?

Indeed -they were armed. Our Attorney General, in an attempt to circumvent the 2d Amendment, ensured that they were armed with weapons coming from America. I'm sure Brian Terry didn't appreciate that he was killed with one of these weapons...but, hey, "What difference does it make"?? huh?

Investigations have shown that the Attorney General knew nothing about the operation. And comparing it to an open border is apples and oranges.

Nevertheless, you are awful quick to blame guns for the actions of the cartels. Are you going to be anti-2A as well? We have guns in this country that criminals use to kill people too.
