I went through my inventory today and cleaned up a bit. I have the following artificials that I'm not sure are of much use here. If they're not worth hanging on to out here, I'll throw 'em up in the BST.

  • Gibbs 9 1/2" 3 1/2 oz red/white pencil popper. This one seems way too big for throwing out here.
  • 7" 2 oz metallic blue with red tips pencil popper. This one seems likely to be usable, but figured I'd ask
  • 6 1/2" 2 1/2 oz squid. Are squid in the surf a thing out here?
  • 7" bombers. I have blurple, black/silver, white/red. Again, they feel big for out here.
  • 4 1/4" 2 oz. Hopkins no=eqls. Too big?
  • 1.5 oz bucktails with 6/0 or 7/0 hooks.
  • Various lures in bunker patterns. I'm not sure if the fish really care that much.

Mind you, I have the gear to throw all these. These are (possibly dumb) questions regarding their applicability in Northern California surf fishing.
