Beastly Backlash
jwilly, If you call Fin-Nor, they will send you spool shims.
Paul E
So, what size rod/fish does the Lethal 100 match to? And - should I be looking at the Lethal 80 for a 9'?
lureman
I have my 80 on a 11 ft. rod A beach is a place where a man can feel, he's the only soul in the world thats real ; A jetty is a place where a man feels, he must have a bucket full of eels. Silverado
Both of my 100's had extra shims included in the boxes.
jwilly
I have my LT100 on a TFO 10'6 and use it for sharks 5-7 feet...and hopefully one day a tarpon. It's definitely overkill for anything smaller than that and far too heavy to cast repeatedly.
Pierce
Just want to find out how the LT100 hold up today? Thinking of getting an extra surf reel. Thanks.
MDsurffishing
I have 5 that I've been using for years, only 1 has a stripped screw that I'm sure was my fault. They have pulled in some monsters with zero issues. We fish pretty much every weekend from spring to fall. It's a shame Fin Nor stopped making reels, if you can find a N.O.S. that has been sitting in the store room pick it up
Pierce
Good to hear that. Got one piece hanging in my local store, think I will just pick it up.  May I know what line lbs you spool in for how many yds/meters? Thanks

Thanks I have it spooled with 80lb Diamond Braid gen3, It probably holds around 400yds. With 45lbs of drag I've never came close to the bottom
Pierce
Thanks, just need the estimate line spooling. I might go for 60lbs so the reel can take in about 500yds.
