Been test casting this blank w/50mm. stripper. Went from 36" and 40" from spool on the the stripper location. Both seemed to cast w/o slap. Is it better to have the larger 50mm. guide closer to spool to keep the line off blank during cast than farther away? I'm using a REMER 401 with a 3" spool diameter w/ mono and a Mitchell 302 w/ braid braid. The rest of the guides are,BSVLG 40,25,20,16&16tip. Any suggestions from you experienced builders is greatly appreciated, since I'm a little unsure of this.

The 2 Honey (2M, 2F)11'ers that I used 50mm guides on have them at 43". They get used with 706z(braid or mono) and Nautil(braid).
