Bob Pop Bucktail Deceiver in pastel blues and greens colors. I'm hoping to run into some Spaniards one day, they use to love green so here we go. The last two belly tyes are mostly shredded crystal ice, gives it nice white/pearl finish.

That’s everyone in the beginning. You’ll get better with each fly.

Seadogg: beautiful as usual. Your Devlin Blend bunkers or bunker type flies and your Albie Whores seem to be in great demand. But you must tie other favorite flies you fish with for stripers, albie, blues etc. I think I remember seeing Clousers and Crease flies that you posted. As there are only stripers where I fish, would you mind telling what are some of the other striper flies you rely on and, even better, posting pictures. Thank you

Thanks for the kind words. Believe it or not, I really don’t fish more than a handful of flies because I only use the fly rod for very specific purposes these days. I use the giant flies when targeting big bass, usually in color schemes like all white, pink/white, or chartreuse/white. Most of this takes place from mid-May to mid-July in my area. I usually use the big, hyper-realistic bunker flies when I’m fishing around bunker schools. After the big fish vacate my area I pretty much put the fly rod down until funny fish season. By early to mid-July business is in full swing so I don’t have much time to dedicate to fishing. The rods are always with me, but they’re used mostly to pass time between jobs. When the bones arrive I usually use bonito bunnies, and albie whores almost exclusively when false albacore arrive. I’ll sometimes use clousers or a little rain bait pattern I developed.

**below are pictures of the box I’m currently carrying.
