Take them in the shower and wash them down with dishwashing soap and a soft brush. Use a toothbrush to clean all around the guides. Rinse them off and towel dry.


Let the rods dry overnight. If you have alot of oxidation then first rub them down with a light compound. I then polish them down with Simonize 2000 liquid car wax.


Store the rods in a dark and dry area. Rewax them again at the start of the season.
