Do it!  Get provolone if you're into it, they use the good stuff.  Just make sure you call before you show up, especially if you are driving a distance.  I once drove an hour there only to have them be closed.  I think the owners vacation this time of year.

Thanks dude, but i will stop at pats and genos to take pics of the joint

I did a 4 year sentence in philly for vetschool. imho - I want my cheesesteak greasy, messy, etc - Pat's or Geno's.

A cheesesteak isn't supposed to be a gourmet experience.

donkeys in Camden has the best by far.

I have been to most and others are good, but donkeys is tops.

the old chinks was top notch. johns roast pork is good.

jims is too skimpy. delesandros is good. nicks is good.

but seriously pats or ginos ? those two places are slop on a roll compared to the rest.  if you think they are good, do your self justice and go to the others.

you don't know what your missing.

Cheese steaks suck. For a really good sammitch get a pork sammitch with broccoli rabe.

dinics at the terminal market then wash it down with a quart of vanilla ice cream from bassets.

If you weren’t wearing body armor, I hope you took that thing to go!  That’s a hot corner there.
