OK, finally geting things in order to start the rod wrapping experinece. I'd like to make sure I've got the necessary "liquids" to assemble/finish the rod in the proper manner (this way I cannot blame the materials).

-Reel seat adhesive (U40 Rod bond)

-5 minute epoxy for the tip top

-Guedbrod (sp?) color sealant

-U40 LS Supreme to finish the wraps

Please feel free to offer differnt suggestions, as the only product I have in hand is the reel seat adhesive. But I'd like to pick up the remaining items this week.

Thanks.

91% isopropyl alcohol to clean up epoxy and thin the color preserver to a 10:1 ratio, imo. q-tips dipped in alcohol to clean up epoxy in tight spots, a lint free rag for same (polyester) small needle to pop the stray bubble or pluck out a bit of lint.
