Which Lami Is Best?

Hi Al,

I am trying to decide between blanks, either a gsb108 1L or a glb108 1m. My problem is, I love the gsb and the feel of it, but it doesn't have enough backbone for my liking. I was thinking that maybe the glb had more to it than the gsb. Any input?

Matty,

In fact, the GSB1081L has more material in the wall, it's heavier, than the GLB1081M.

Try looking at the GSB1081M and maybe you will be satisfied with that. I would also recommend you look at the Arra XRA 1204.

Al,

I still question whether this is right or not but I asked Todd Vivian about the GSB1081L and the GLB1081M and he told me they were the same blank .I asked Dick French about this also and he told me the same thing ,even though the specs say otherwise.

I still think that possibly they were thinking about the GSB1081M and the GLB1081MH

but I find it hard to believe both of them made a mistake.

Maybe Todd will read this and end my doubts.

Or maybe I'll just have to buy the GLB1081M

and compare it to the GSB1081L that I'm working on now.

Todd did say that the ARRA 9' was a little more on the lighter side than the other two though.

Ken.

I guess I am wrong. I was ready from the catalog spec sheet. Several people on the board have pointed out errors in the catalog, so I stand corrected.
