Dusting tonight more snow Saturday - under 20 all feels the same to me until you add wind - we were snowboarding Jays Peake VT one year and the summit was -27 - that was the coldest of cold for me

How was the rut in Kentucky? What is the length of the season for bow, and how many antlered deer are you allowed? I would like to have an invite, just an FYI.

I didn't hunt this year, so I didn't pay it much attention.

I see deer every day and some with antlers on a fairly regular basis considering that I'm not actively looking for them. The issue here is the same as everywhere else... access to productive private land. I have none, and probably won't have any 'cause I need Mickrazz to handle my social interactions and he is nowhere to be found.

WRT an invite, we have lots of nice, affordable motels and you'll have money to burn since you get to enjoy 800 miles of toll-free driving once you get over the Delaware on Route 78.

;)

;)

If you have a WMA by private homes and or farms they will have your biggest bucks.

Thanks, for the invite... :moon:

Yeah, I got WMA land by farms, and I have seen a decent buck on one of my two trips to the local WMA. But public land is public land meaning that you are surrounded by other members of the public... which does not make for a great hunt.

You got the same invite that my relatives get. You should feel honored.

Precise without the malice is like a helium balloon without the helium. Just wouldn't be the same.

The girls came by for happy hour. Here's one.

Think I will name her "Sherry", 'cause I'd her sauteed in a pan of it with mushrooms.
