?Reel Seat?

Ok.

I've done a bunch of searches, but haven't found what I'm looking for.

Does the assembly go as follows?

Reel Seat = Glued to blank

Cork tape, up to reel seat. Shrink Wrap, over cork and over reel seat? I can't envision how the shrink wrap would fit over the end of the reel seat and the cork tape?

Much thanks

glued to the blank. at times you may have to build up the dia of the rod with masking tape to get the reel seat to fit nice and tight. I use Epoxy to secure them to the blank. Big Dave

I got home last night and realized how stupid this question was!

I guess sometimes you need to have the thing right in front of you.

This handle actually came out way better than I thought, I'll try to get some pics up.

I ended up using shrink wrap at the front of the foregrip and on each end of the reel seat. I think I'll wrap over it and then epoxy, but overall I'm pretty happy with how it feels.

Thanks for the help

Tightlines,

Wrap the butt , build up the reel seat bushings , glue the seat , hopefully the butt end of the seat just fits over the cork tape. wrap the forgrip. Tape the forgrip to rod area. Trip to a taper with a razor blade. Smooth with a rasp. remove remaining tape , wrap the taper uphill. Wrap the area ahead of the reel seat and behind. I like to wrap right on the cork. I remove the tape. i don't like shrink wrap.
