Fuji SIC (silicone carbide) tips are good hard tips. If you're totally unfamiliar with how to change it, take the rod into a good tackle shop that does rod work, and they will change it for you in a few minutes. If you want to try it yourself, carefully heat the tip with a match or candle for a few seconds to loosen the epoxy or ferrule cement that hold the tip on. Be careful, too much heat can damage the rod. After removing it, bring the rod and tip along and buy the appropriate replacement. You can fasten the new tip with either 5 minute epoxy (don't use any other kind) or ferrule cement, which is a hot melt glue in a stick.
