single part coatings??

I see a couple of one part coatings...anything good about them? do they work as good as the 2 part stuff?

right now I'm using classic coat and it's pretty good but the mixing is a bit of a pain and I feel I waste too much (mixing in little medicine cups)

and opinions on the 1 part coatings?

thanx

I too am waiting anxiously for an answer to this. I have seen two quality companies that produce one-part finishes, but will not risk them without at least someones expereinces. It takes me soooo long to wrap with my manual stuff I don't want to waste that much time if the epoxy stinks. On the other hand, I just finished a light spinning rod with Gudebrod Varnish, and though it is not nearly as tough as epoxy, it is LIGHT, if applied correctly IMO it is far strong enough for a light spinner or freshwater rod. Nobody else seems to like this stuff, but it does work fast.
