WR,

3 ounces would probably be pushing it, but is doable.

Here are some general construction guides:

Butt length - 25-26 inches

Foregrip - 6-8 inches

Reelseat - #20 to fit the chosen reel.

Guides - 40HH double foot, then shift to the YSG or YLG high frame single foot spinning

30,25,20,16,12,10 plus a tip with a #10 ring.

Spacing - 40HH 35 inches from face of spool. #10 guide 5 inches from tip.

Space remaining guides in increasing 1 inch increments from tip to butt. e.g. 6,7,8 etc.

i'll use 'a'for underwraps,but how

about overwraps?never used singlefoot

for saltwater.do you go to a heavier

thread for them?

Yes they make a 40HH in SIC. I use the single foots on the lighter surf blanks all the time and they stand up just fine.

You can wrap the single foots with either size A,C or D thread. It's your choice.
