Would appreciate some advice on Fuji SIC guide sizes and types:

Which guides do you prefer: NSG or HNSG?

What size would you recommend for the following blanks and applications?

1. 1204 will be used mostly on sandy beaches with Abu 6500 or Abu BG7000 Narrow spool for plugging, spooled with 20-30lb braid.

2. 1205 - bucktailing near the bridges and 2-4oz wood on sandy beaches with Abu BG7000,

spooled with 50-65lb braid.

I'm sure there will be varying opinions but I see no need to spend more for sic or alconites, hardaloy BNLG 25-20-16-12-12-12-12 with BPLT 16 tip, never saw a hardaloy get grooved by braid.

Take a look at the BMNAG alconites. They have a "heavy" concept frame and are priced closer to hardloy than SIC. Just an alternative you might want to consider. Nothing wrong with the NLG's however.
