I figured maybe I would get real ambitious here and instaed of rewrapping just one guide thats broken why not replace them all?

Well I was looking through the parts sites and saw the Fugi lowriders...

heres the question folks...

I use 50 pound braid on the Breakaway "123" Spinner with a Daiwa Emblem 5500 ZA reel.. are the fuji lopw riders the correct choice?

If so what sizes? How many guides and what spacing to use on this breakaway "123" spinner?

that question will keep your brain warm in this snowstorm... hee hee hee

Look forward to hearing from our experienced members on this one....

My spider sence is tingling like I'm about to destroy my rod...cwm12.gif

AJ,

I hear the Fuji Lower Riders are dynamite for spinning. I have only built a rod recently with these guides but have not yet received a field report.

You will need to do some test casting and a stress distribution test to come up with the ideal guide placement.

John... They are great fishing guides with that reel and that line and I am pretty sure that also with that rod.

You have to use a formula that Fuji has for the LCs. If you give me the precise distance from the reel foot stem to the end of the butt and also the distance from the stem to the rod tip I will do the calculations for you.

Get the LCSG 2071 set (LCSG-20/16/12/10/8/8/MNST10H)

You wont be dissapointed smile.gif

John and Billy... What Al says about testing is important. On the other hand I have had very good results following Fuji guidelines. Check your PMs for a link that shows the formula.

Best regards.

Sergio
