Question on trim wraps....

Al,

In an earlier post, you mentioned that you often underwrap with metallic thread and then overwrap with black size A. Does the underwrap then do double duty as your trim wrap? You have the metallic thread showing between guide feet (if two footed guides). Do you then start your overwrap inside of the underwrap so that the metallic thread serves as a nice trim on the ends of the wrap?

The reason I ask is because I find it a pain in the neck to incorporate a trim wrap into my overwrap. It doubles or triples the wrapping time for me.

Thanks, Mark
