castingkid
Recently I just had my basement finished. So now I have a nice workshop to do all my tinkering in. Its designation is for doing all my fishing stuff. Tying flies, making bucktails and I really would like to get into rod building. I have done my reading over the last few months and I feel I am ready now to start building. I know a lot of guys build their wrappers but I think it would be more efficient to just get an already made one right now. I have seen several that I think look good but I want to get some opinions first. I did m y looking at mudhole. I think the flexcoat motor wrapper looks like it would be just what I need as does their best selling wrapper which is 8ft. and made out of Aluminum. Before I jump into it though I just want to see what suggestions can be made that I may have not seen so far or if you have good things to say about either of the wrappers.. Thanks alot Alex [This message has been edited by castingkid (edited 01-01-2003).]
Al Goldberg
Alex, Before you jump into anything please come on over to my shop and let's spend some time talking. There are a number of questions that should be addressed before you make your decision. Please check your PM's. Al
