Al, i am doing a rod up w/ the concept. my question is this: when they say to place the choke guide "on" the intersecting mark, do they mean it or do they mean line up and center the guide ring so that the line would be centered inside the ring? all the pics are too small to see what they mean in rod builder and in fuji's site.

Take a yardstick and draw an imaginary line through the center of the reel body and spool up to cross the blank. That point where the line intersects the blank is where the stripper guide is initiallly placed.

You will need to test cast the rod and finetune the guide placement depending on the diameter of the spool, the line you will be using and the diameter of the guide ring.

Al
