I don't have any from that series, but a good friend I wish with in Florida just loves 'em. That's Star's E-glass series of rods, and they're every bit as nicely built as the graphite Stellar Lites which I do own, and fish hard. Ninety bucks sounds like a good price for that model.

Bill todays Star rods are a far cry from their older models, since they moved off shore the rods produced are often fairly poor in quality, they no longer use solely Fuji components, have had some fairly new ones in the shop for repairs {guides} hard to align with so many of them being crooked. I would take a long carefull look at any I was purchasing.

I've got one. I used it a lot last year and caught many 20lbers with it. It'll handle much larger. It's veerrry tip heavy. But, because of same I had to slow my cast. I gained a lot of distance on all my rods. I highly recommend. I paid 109.
