Purglas PSFB301, 2 piece, 9' 10", lure 2-4, butt 0.90, tip 5 - Blank weight under 6oz eek.gif

Anyone familiar with it?? I was told it's got a parabolic action and, although it's sweet spot is 2 1/2 to 3, because of the way it loads it's capable of throwing a 7/8ths Yozuri and can also deal with a 4 oz pencil popper.

This might possibly be the rod I'm looking for.

What I'm looking for is a very light, strong rod that can throw 6" Bombers and 1 oz jigs up to 4 oz wood. Where I often fish tends to be a long distance from the truck so I need a rod that can do a lot of things.

<snip>

Problem is my right shoulder has been taking a beating working the heavier sticks, I need to mix it up and lighten it up before I do real damage.
