I believe so.  I have a couple from a brand called Noeby.

Too funny. I believe you're both right.

Definitely a good herring imitation.

So you got one.  It is a pretty sweet color.  I think I saw them at KTP a while back.

They actually have decent action.  But too many hooks.  I removed the middle on one of them. The next one, I'll remove the tail hook and put on a blade.

Obviously, the hooks and split rings need to be swapped. I wonder about the thru wire also.

I've beat this one up but with hook rash and character on the minnow comes confidence! Will change those hooks and split rings soon hahaha

Yellow or blurple but my favorite color is the Sky Blue Mockity Pink The Color of An Ox Fart. Other than those I don’t think it matters.

Is the the Fast Food color?  Been thinking of getting that one and the Senorita color.  I'm fond of the gold colored lures.

I always preferred lighter colours, even at night but they seem to like blurple lately. A571A2A8-2145-4F5D-865B-17B3034CFBD8.jpeg.bc0edb10f687c7741a8d7613307974f9.jpeg

Nice!  That could be a new color:  Blurple Splatter!

was wondering what the favorite color of sp minows is for surf stripers

Depends what bait is around and what time of year not to mention one of the light conditions. Is it daytime or night overcast or clear skies?

I seem to rotate through Ghost White (not pictured but probably my favorite), Sand Eel (below),

PXL_20210912_161617911.jpg.e26c4b6d6ac128dd5acb49abad3b8e32.jpg

Green Mack (not pictured),  Yellow over White (pretty much a chicken scratch scheme). I always run a single 3/0 Owner In-Line hook and a homemade Flag Tail on my SP-minnows.

and Bluple (not pictured).

In this class of lures. I also like Bombers, Red Fin Shad, XRaps and Mambo Minnows.

The Yozuri Crystal Minnow doesn't cast quite as nicely but boy does it catch fish so that's another one that has to be considered especially if you are using the lure as a searching pattern.

Hogy's Charter Grade Sliders are also great as searching patterns. They don't have the wobble than an SP minnow has, but they have a terrific rattle and the swimming action is awesome. You can make them move around really nicely and go side to side easily.
