Offsets are the most fun to cook on, by far.

but a good one is a lot of money.

I didn't like my stick burner.  Much happier with the WSM.

It’s much easier, that’s for sure. I consider the WSM too easy to cook on.

Yea. It’s so simple it’s stupid, and it’s damn near magic when you let it sit overnight.

I love it. I wonder how long it will keep for?

Can you post it?

Here's the one I use..

Got it off the smoke ring years ago.

My family won't eat pulled pork without it..

1/2 c ACV

1/2 c apple cider

1/2 c dark karo

1/2 c brown sugar

1/4 c white sugar

2 Tbs Frank's Red Hot

1 Tbs onion powder

Good combo of sweet/tart with a touch of heat...

What kind did you have? Why didn’t you like it?

I mostly smoke ribs, chicken and sausage. These don’t require a ton of time so I figure stick burner would be the best method even if I have to tinker with it a bit. Probably use the wsm for longer cooks.

It was the first one I owned and got it a box store, so not a "better" brand.  I will admit to enjoy putting actual wood into the fire box, but it wasn't my thing.  Seemed to take a lot of work.  I cant imagine buying another. And it was messy.  I had to keep it in the corner of the property because of the drippings.
