Wanted a good rod builder to mod a Loomis

I have an off the shelf Loomis SAR1265C-BC.

It's an excellent rod, but I want to change the lower guides to suit a Shimano Baitrunner BTR6500.

While it is designed for a mooching reel, I've been using the Baitrunner to cast with it, getting some reasonable distances.

While the 1265C implies a spine set up for a conventional reel, this is set up for a mooching reel which are underslung similar to a spinning reel.

I'd like to replace the lower guides with larger diameters to reduce line friction.

I'd do it myself, but I'm not competent enough, so I'm looking for a pro to do it for me. I've contacted Loomis and they've informed that if the job is done competently it won't void my lifetime warranty.

Any pros on the board interested in this task? Since I'm carless in Manhattan, someone in the city, or accessible by public transport would be ideal.

You can email me via the board.

Thanks in advance

Tom Scott
