Painting a blank

Al,

I know you've covered this before but I was just wondering if you're opinion has changed. I'm rebuilding an old e-glass blank that has some scatches and nicks on it. What type of paint would you recommend and where can I get it. Also, would you apply any type of finish over the paint.

John

P.S. The blank was alot of flex so the paint will need to handle this.

I have had success with polyurethane spray paint and boat hull epoxy paint. You need to spray on 2-3 thin coats and rub down each coat with 800-1000 wet paper.

I do not recommend applying guide wrap finish over the paint.
