Lamiglas Perigee blanks

I've been fishing a rod that Al Goldberg built on a Dale Clemens blank a few years ago. It's 9' long, stiff as hell, lot of power - formidable 9' stick all round, I like it a lot. Al tells me the blank was a prototype Perigee, and that the series has been discontinued. How did the Perigees differ from other Lamiglas rods? I vaguely recall that there was a Perigee 120-1L, which would - I take it - have had a harder feel, from a higher modulus graphite, then a normal 120-1L; I'd like to know. Did any of you gents build on the Perigee 120-1L?

Different place Brian. Custom Tackle is a rod building supply house down in Tennessee. I bought five perigee blanks from him without a hitch. No ten footers but I got a 1081m that has yet to be wrapped. It is a nice blank.
