Is Breathing Epoxy Dangerous?

Al,

Do you take any precautions when working with two part resins? I've heard that respirator should be used, as the fumes kill brain cells and can cause cancer. I haven't been using any of these precautions, and im wurreed tha et mite na be gud fah mee wink.gif Any thoughts?

Certain epoxy fumes can be very harmful from prolonged exposure. Some people use a respirator when working with these.

 

I have a well ventilated shop with a professional air filtration system. I do not use those types of epoxies by choice, and will where a respirator when required.
