Gary,

This is a busy night. 1322 for spinning with the Diawa Emblem 5500.

The following are approximate spacing. Use either Fuji SIC or Hardaloy high frame spinning guides 40HH, 30H, 25H, 25M, 20M,

20M plus a BPST20-xx tip.

Space the 40HH stipper guide 38-40 inches from the face of the reel.

Space the first #20M guide 8 inches from the tip.

Space the remaining guides in increasing 1-inch intervals moving from tip to butt. e.g. 9, 10, 11, 12, 13

Please refer the my 4 part article on basic rodbuilding in the articles section on this board.

Al,

Would you recommend the same guides and spacing for the XRA1322 mated with a VS 250?

Are there size 50 high frame hardloy guides available? If so, where do I get them?

Thanks, Wayne.

Al wrapped one conv. for me last year and that rod can send a lure out of site.

Unfortunately I was only able to use it a couple times last year and didn't catch a thing. frown.gif
