Guide ring-Can it be fixed?

I have an 8' St Croix spinner that I use for plugging. The other day I noticed that the first guide ring is loose. Normally it is welded to the guide frame at 3 points. One of the outside welds is broke leaving the ring attached by 2 welds. Can this be re-attachd with some sort of glue or epoxy, or do I need to replace the entire guide?

Is it a stainless (wire) guide or is it one of the Fuji-style with inserts? If it's the former, a new guide is definitely needed. The inserts on Fuji-style guides are pressed in, so the optimal way to repair them is with a new guide, but sometimes a little epoxy or superglue will hold the inserts in for a long time.
