Guides and spacing Loomis SA-1085

Just got a Loomis IMX SA-1085 2 piece blem blank. I'm going to wrap it conventional as a schoolie rod for the open beach. I'll use either 5500 or 6500 series ABU. Center of my reel seat will be approximately 23" from the butt. Any suggestions for a starting point for guides and spacing? Also this is my first 2 piece rod. Do I spline the bottom section? Anything else I should do different for a 2 piece?

Thanks for your help... Bill
