also is there any way to speed up the drying in classic supercoat? thats what I will be using to coat the thread

CP is not necessary on HT metalic.

 

Heat speeds the curing of epoxy. Humidity will delay curing. If you QUICKLY hit your wraps with a lighter or a torch, it will thin the epoxy at first, but it will cure quicker. Just be careful not to over do it or you will boil the epoxy and make a mess. Too much heat can also cause bubbles. Allowing the rod to dry in a warm dry place is the safest way to speed the curing.
