painting rod blanks?

I stripped down a couple of rods that I going to re wrap , the rods were painted and some paint chiped not hurting the blank. is it possible to paint rod blanks or will it effect the blank ???

Try using those spray paints used for polycarbonate R/C model car bodies. Those made by Tamiya are fine but I prefer those by Kyosho more because they leave a tougher finishing. These paints dry fast and remains elastic. Good luck painting those rods buddy. smile.gif

I would go with either Stick or Ceph. I never tried the spray paint version of the R/C paint, but used the stuff to air brush it and it came out great. Two coats of Permaglos over it and it looked great.
