THEKID
Hey Al! I hear you use this for some of your rods. What are the advantages of this grip? I've heard a lot about it but I'm unaware of it in terms of surf rods? Do you like this type of foregrip better than the traditional Cork Tape? Thanks, The Kid
Al Goldberg
I have been using flocked cork grips for along time. They are easy to work with when assembling a rod, very durable (some of my rods are twenty years old and have the original grips on them that still look great). The grip does not get slippery when dirty or wet and cleans up easily with soap and water. Ask Crazy Al, since I have been building for him for twenty years. He will be a good source of info.
