Puppy Mullet
I want to sling 2or3oz. Is this rod comparable to the 1265 Allstar? Thanks
Thumb-Burner
wayne hill has one and loves it.. i think it's a tad lighter than the 1265 allstar, but haven't cast it. If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. But, if you teach a man to fish, he will spend all his money on fishing tackle and won't be able to afford to eat! Puppy Mullet
There must be a huge difference in the Rainshadow 1264 an the 1266. I got the 66 blank at the show and now I wish I hadnt. This rod feels rated for 5oz. or something?? I wish I had got the 1265 Allstar instead.
Saltheart
The 1266 is rated 2 to 5 OZ. It makes a pretty good canal rod if you must go 2 piece. Maybe whoever you bought it from will exchange it for a 1265 for you?
