Fenwick 9' 2pc. graphite inshore spinning rod

Hi:

Would appreciate some info and input....I am seriously considering buying a Fenwick 2pc inshore spinning graphite pole. It is rated 1/2 oz - 4oz...,15-30 line, Model No. Salt Stik HMG SSGS90H-2. I think it came out this year..It is all graphite rated Heavy, tip is supposed to be firm...

I have a 9ft. Ugly Stik (which I've had for a couple of years) but I just really can't cast a 1oz. bucktail on it very well..I guess the tip is too whippy, (besides my great casting skill)....been thinking of getting something with a firmer tip than the Ugly Stik.. where I surfcast I need a 3/4oz. - 1 1/2 oz. bucktail (trying for weakfish),

but am hesitant about graphite because I've heard that they do break more easily and also don't know anything about Fenwick except that it is an old company.

any info on Fenwick, and this model rod would really be appreciated.

Also I use a modified 3x3 rig with a teaser above for fluke (with a 2 1/2 oz. sinker or sometimes even 3oz....is this too heavy for this rod)

Thanks.
