2 piece - 10-10.5' rod, Is this possible

Is it possible to get a custom 2 piece plugging rod?

I am looking for a nice load action to throw 1-3 oz.

I understand that 2 pieces tend to be a bit stiffer,

but I am hoping this can be overcome.

I would also like the length to be 10-10.5 feet.

I live in an apartment and drive a compact car;

therefore, a 2 piece is the only way to go.

Any suggestions regarding blanks, etc...

Thanks,

Leslie

Leslie

I took the advise from The Guys in the Forum

and wrapped me up a Allstar 9'-6" 2 piece (1145-2)

thats rated for 1-3 It really sails the pencils out there. I wrapped it conventional but I'm not quite up to Par in casting in a strong head Wind

So again with the Advice from the Guys in this FOrum I'm about ready to buy the AllStar 10'-6" (1266 or 1267) and wrap it as a Spinner just in case I still haven't educated my thumb enough,

come June, to to Toss the Plugs into the Wind.

I had a chance to test-flex Saltheart's 1265/2 at a recent show. It's a very sweet rod, enough overall flex to work a pencil popper and plenty of backbone. Perfect for 1-3 oz. Plus the blank runs considerably less than a Lamiglas GSB 120 2L.

Of course, if money's no object, the XRA 1204-2 is another fantastic blank, and altho it's rated for a max of 2-1/2 oz, it handles 3 OK.

Hi Leslie,

I have a custom made St. Croix 10' 2 piece that fits that bill. I love the rod, I just wish they made it in 1 piece which they dont. If you want to see it or use it you are welcome.
