elmers glue = colr perserver???

Hey AL:

I was informed by a fellow rod builder that yu can take elmers glue, and dilute it with water. By doing so, it makes color perserver. is this true? because if it is, boy would that save me some money.

I don't know about the Elmers (although the do appear similar), but $5 worth of CP will coat the thread on at least 50 rods. I don't think it's worth the risk.

Elmers glue is a very old trick, only problem is it dont always work, will seem to work fine a couple of times and be totally out of wack the next, stick with a good CP leave the gambling to Atlantic city
